Green Chemistry Platform
Green chemistry is a philosophy of chemical research and manufacturing that utilizes methods to minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances. Several States in the US and countries have already passed pollution control laws. Among many methods, biotransformation and bioengineering is becoming a viable option for achieving green chemistry goals. In this regard, Anthem has initiated various projects that use biotransformation in whole cells, as well purified enzymes to carry out certain chemical reactions; some of these are in advanced stages.
